Katseye’s Manon to Take Temporary Hiatus From the Group

Katseye has announced that member Manon Bannerman shall be taking a short lived hiatus to “focus on her health and wellbeing.”

The group, which was just lately nominated for best new artist at the Grammys, posted a press release saying that the members collectively mentioned Bannerman’s hiatus and “fully support this decision.”

“After open and thoughtful conversations together, we are sharing that Manon will be taking a temporary hiatus from group activities to focus on her health and wellbeing,” reads the assertion. “Katseye remains committed to showing up for one another and for the fans who mean everything to us. The group will continue scheduled activities during this time, and we look forward to being together again when the time is right.”

The global lady group, which also contains Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza and Yoonchae Jeung, climbed the ranks as Ok-pop trainees on the 2023 actuality competitors sequence “Dream Academy.” Katseye turned breakout performers following the Netflix docuseries “Popstar Academy: Katseye” together with their aptly-titled first single “Debut.”
