Colleen Atwood (“One Battle After Another”), Paul Tazewell (“Wicked: For Good)” and Kate Hawley (“Frankenstein”) had been the big winners of the twenty eighth Costume Designers Guild Awards on Thursday night.

Tazewell who gained for excellence in sci-fi/fantasy for “Wicked: For Good’ called his win a full circle second. Cole accepted the Career Achievement Award, which acknowledges a person whose profession in costume design has left an indelible mark on movie and tv.

The night’s Distinguished Collaborator Award was offered to James Cameron by Deborah L. Scott. The award acknowledges people whose distinctive abilities and contributions have considerably superior the craft and artwork of costume design. It highlights behind-the-scenes professionals whose dedication and experience are important to the storytelling course of by means of costume design.
