To assist its customers work together with securities finance and brief curiosity insights more effectively, EquiLend the securities finance fintech has launched a new AI-powered assistant. 

Launched within its Data & Analytics suite, the service is now accessible through the DataLend interface and the Orbisa app on the Bloomberg Terminal. Unlike general-purpose chatbots, EquiLend’s assistant is educated completely on the agency’s research and market insights. It delivers fast, context-rich responses to consumer queries, enabling merchants, analysts, and portfolio managers to explore years of securities lending data and development analysis with velocity and precision.

“The securities finance industry moves faster than ever, and our users rely on our data-driven research to navigate market shifts,” said Nancy Allen, managing director and head of data and analytics at EquiLend. “Our new AI assistant reflects the evolving ways clients consume content and provides an intuitive interface to explore the trends, risks and revenue drivers that matter most.”

Through a chat-based interface, the assistant helps customers floor related securities finance traits, threat indicators, and income drivers in real time. Users can ask questions such as, “Which stocks drove the most securities lending revenue in June 2025?”, “What is a short squeeze?”, or “How are global fixed income lending trends evolving?”
