A pioneering feminine boxer is being touted as a future world champion as she prepares for a fight in her dwelling metropolis of Hull.

Charan Kaur Dhesi is certainly one of Britain’s few Sikh feminine professionals and can seem at the Connexin Live area at the end of May.

The 21-year-old took up the sport in her early teenagers after watching her brothers practising at the East Hull Amateur Boxing Club.

“It’s something not many women do, especially an Asian girl. I want to pave the way for the other girls as well,” she told BBC Radio Humberside Sport.
