Trump plans to name Kevin Warsh as next Fed chair: sources

President Trump plans to name Kevin Warsh, the former Federal Reserve governor, exchange Jerome Powell as Federal Reserve chair, The Post has discovered.

After assembly on Thursday with Warsh, a former Fed governor and Stanford University professor, Trump later called Warsh and requested him if he would settle for the place — and he did, sources inform The Post.
