Starz Sets Premiere for ‘Amadeus,’ With Will Sharpe and Paul Bettany


Starz has announced that “Amadeus,” its new adaptation of Peter Shaffer’s 1979 play of the same title (which also impressed the Oscar-winning movie), will premiere on May 8.

Disney Branded Television has announced the “Disney Branded Television Discovers Voice Talent Search,” a nationwide expertise hunt for rising voice actors, with a concentrate on animation.

Prime Video has launched the trailer for the upcoming feature-length documentary “Jerry West: The Logo,” set to release on April 16.

Produced by Propagate and Khalabo Ink Society, the documentary follows the life and profession of NBA participant Jerry West, whose “lifelong pursuit of winning was paved in sacrifice and loss.”

“Black-ish” creator Kenya Barris directed the doc. “Jerry West: The Logo” options West’s final interviews with him opening up about his personal struggles with depression, his failed marriage, sophisticated relationship with fatherhood, and “the persistent feeling of being an outsider.”

The documentary consists of interviews with former and current NBA stars Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, and Shaquille O’Neal, NBA commissioner Adam Silver, and West’s personal spouse and a number of of his kids.

Tubi has launched the Season 2 trailer for “Big Mood.” Starring Nicola Coughlan and Lydia West, the present will return on the free, ad-supported platform on April 16 with all six episodes.

Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer for “American Gladiators,” full with authentic music from Jelly Roll and the reveal of the new Gladiator names.
