Scary Movie 6 Trailer Spoofs Sinners, Weapons by Wayans Brothers

Paramount Pictures has unmasked the trailer for the latest installment in the “Scary Movie” franchise.

Scary Movie 6” reunites the Wayans Bros., Marlon, Shawn and Keenen, for the first time in 18 years to put in writing a new installment in the horror parody sequence. It’s the first film in the comedy sequence since “Scary Movie 5” in 2013. The brothers also produce the film with Rick Alvarez, and Michael Tiddes is directing.

The trailer parodied many in style horror motion pictures from the last a number of years, including current hits like “Sinners,” “Weapons,” “The Substance” and Netflix’s “Wednesday.” It begins out with a spoof of the Ghostface subway scene from “Scream 6” with many costumed characters — including the dancing robotic killer “Megan.” Marlon and Shawn Wayans reunite with Regina Hall and Anna Faris to tackle Ghostface, however mainly to poke enjoyable at “Get Out,” “Smile,” “Terrifier,” “Longlegs” and more.

Other returning “Scary Movie” solid members embrace Lochlyn Monroe, Dave Sheridan, Jon Abrahams, Cheri Oteri and Chris Elliott. Newcomers to the satirical franchise embrace the brothers’ nephew Damon Wayans Jr., their sister Kim Wayans, “SNL” alum Heidi Gardner, Olivia Rose Keegan, Savannah Lee Nassif, Cameron Scott Roberts, Sydney Park, Gregg Wayans, Ruby Snowber and Benny Zielke.

The unique “Scary Movie” from 2000 was one in all the highest-grossing, R-rated horror motion pictures of all time. The movie opened at $42.5 million at the box workplace, which was the greatest debut for an R-rated horror film and a Black director at that time. The Wayans Bros. developed the “Scary Movie” movie franchise, with Keenen writing and directing the first two movies. Marlon and Shawn wrote and starred in the first two movies.

Miramax is producing, with Jonathan Glickman, Alexandra Loewy and Thom Zadra serving as govt producers. As a part of its first look cope with Miramax,  Paramount Pictures will release the horror movie worldwide on June 12.
