Rob Edwards: Wolves preparing approach to Middlesbrough to speak to…

Wolves are preparing to approach Middlesbrough for permission to speak to Rob Edwards.

Sky Sports News reported Edwards was a candidate for the function after Vitor Pereira was sacked on November 2 following a 10-game winless start to the Premier League season.

The Middlesbrough boss has a historical past with Wolves, having made over 100 appearances for them during his time there as a participant from 2004 to 2008.

He was also a part of the club’s teaching employees, working with the under-18s in 2014 before being promoted to a training function with the first team in 2015.
