AHMEDABAD: Having led India to a T20 World Cup title, Suryakumar Yadav is now targetting the 2028 LA Olympics. “The next goal is the Olympics — Olympic gold. And also the T20 World Cup, don’t forget,” the Indian captain said.

The 12 months 2028 guarantees to be important for T20 cricket, with the Olympic Games in Los Angeles scheduled for August adopted by the next T20 World Cup later that 12 months. Surya hopes to bow out with an Olympic gold medal and lead India as defending champions in the World Cup.
