John Souttar: Rangers defender signs new Ibrox deal until May 2027…

Defender John Souttar has signed a new deal with Rangers.

The 29-year-old, who was out of contract in the summer season, has put pen to paper on a deal until May 2027, with the Ibrox club holding the choice of an extra 12 months.

He joined from Hearts in 2022 after signing a pre-contract and has gone on to make 127 appearances for Rangers.

Souttar, who began his profession at Dundee United before a transfer to Tynecastle Park, has also earned 21 caps for Scotland.

After signing his new deal, Souttar said: “It is an thrilling time to be right here and an thrilling time to be concerned at the club so I’m delighted.
