‘Jersey Shore’ Star Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi Diagnosed With Cervical Cancer

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who first rose to fame as the star of MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” shared that she obtained a cervical cancer diagnosis. 

“My results came back for my cone biopsy, and it came back stage 1 cervical cancer called adenocarcinoma,” the actuality star said in an almost eight-minute lengthy video posted to her TikTok account on Friday. “Obviously not the news that I was hoping for, but also not the worst news just because they caught it so early. Thank freaking God!”

In the video, Polizzi shared that she had been at a post-op appointment for a cone biopsy (a surgical process that removes tissue from the cervix to check for early-stage cervical cancer or precancerous cells) she’d had performed earlier.  

She famous that she’d been “struggling with abnormal pap smears for three or four years now.” Earlier this yr, Polizzi had shared on TikTok that her doctor had “found cancerous cells on the top of my cervix” following a colposcopy and biopsy. 

“That’s why I’m literally telling you guys to get your pap smears done. I’m 38 years old… and now look at me,” she said. “And instead of just putting it off because I didn’t want to go and it hurt and I was scared, no, I just went and did it. And it was there, cancer is in there. But it’s only stage 1 and it’s curable.”

“So get your appointments done, bitches! I’m telling you,” she continued, noting that she’d probably want a hysterectomy and attainable elimination of her lymph nodes. “2026 is not panning out how I wanted it to, but also [it] could be worse.”
