The project will be overseen by Kevork Kechichian, the government vp and common supervisor of Intel’s data middle group, according to reporting from Reuters. Kechichian was employed in September among a slew of new engineer-focused hires.

This initiative appears to be in comparatively early levels as Tan said the company plans to develop its strategy round buyer calls for and wishes.

While Nvidia didn’t invent the GPU, that particular sort of chip has performed a large function in its success. Its GPUs for AI programs are so superior and widespread, the chipmaker at present holds a commanding market lead.
