‘House of David’ Season Two Release Date

Prime Video and Wonder Project has set the Season 2 premiere date for “House of David,” with the biblical drama returning March 27. All episodes shall be out there to stream globally at launch.

The new season follows the breakout debut of the collection, which has attracted more than 40 million viewers worldwide.

Set against a backdrop of political upheaval and non secular reckoning, the official logline states the second season continues “as Israel nears collapse as Saul’s reign falters. David rises from shepherd to warrior, caught between loyalty and destiny, while the Age of Iron transforms warfare. As families fracture, forbidden loves spark, and alliances shift, faith and power collide in a struggle that will decide Israel’s future.”

The collection stars Michael Iskander as David, alongside Ali Suliman as King Saul, Ayelet Zurer as Queen Ahinoam and Stephen Lang as Samuel. The ensemble forged also consists of Indy Lewis, Yali Topol Margalith, Ethan Kai, Sam Otto, Oded Fehr, Louis Ferreira, Davood Ghadami, Ashraf Barhom and Alexander Uloom.

“House of David” comes from Wonder Project’s Jon Erwin and Jon Gunn, who government produce alongside Jonathan Lloyd Walker, Justin Rosenblatt, Chad Oakes, Michael Frislev, Trey Callaway and Mark McNair. Rosenblatt served as government in cost of manufacturing for Wonder Project. Dallas Jenkins, creator of “The Chosen,” is a shareholder and particular advisor to the company. The collection is produced by Nomadic Pictures and Argonauts in affiliation with Wonder Project and Amazon MGM Studios, alongside Kingdom Story Company and Lionsgate Television.
