Hamnet, The Testament of Ann Lee Join Palm Springs’ Talking Pictures

​Global luxurious group Kering will display “Hamnet” and “The Testament of Ann Lee” at the Palm Springs International Film Festival as half of its Talking Pictures program on Saturday.

To have a good time the tenth anniversary of its Women In Motion initiative, the two screenings can be adopted by Q&As with “Hamnet” director Chloé Zhao and Amanda Seyfried and Mona Fastvold from “The Testament of Ann Lee.” Variety‘s Angelique Jackson will reasonable.

​Women In Motion, which was launched by Kering in 2015 at the Cannes Film Festival, honors women in cinema and across the arts, each in entrance of and behind the digicam. The program acknowledges influential figures while supporting rising expertise and fostering significant dialogue round illustration in tradition.

​Kering is also the presenting sponsor of the Palm Springs International Film Awards, which can be held on the same day. Honorees embrace Rose Byrne (Breakthrough Performance Award), Timothée Chalamet (Spotlight Award, Actor), Leonardo DiCaprio (Desert Palm Achievement Award, Actor), Ethan Hawke (Career Achievement Award), Kate Hudson (Icon Award, Actress), Michael B. Jordan (Icon Award, Actor), Adam Sandler (Chairman’s Award) and Seyfried (Desert Palm Achievement Award, Actress).

​The awards will also acknowledge “Frankenstein” with the Visionary Award honoring director Guillermo del Toro and actors Oscar Isaac, Jacob Elordi and Mia Goth; “Hamnet” with the Vanguard Award honoring director Zhao and actors Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal and “Sentimental Value” with the International Star Award honoring solid members Renate Reinsve, Stellan Skarsgård, Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas and Elle Fanning.
