Inaugural event to deal with AI

The community will formally kick off its program of actions on 26 February with a meet-up in Brazil. Themed “The Future of Payments Using AI,” the inaugural event will feature participation from open-source software company Red Hat and digital fee options supplier Verifone.

During the event, Caetano Altieri, CEO of Verifone, will share strategic insights on how artificial intelligence is at present reworking fee strategies. Getnet plans to announce further initiatives and packages for the community step by step throughout the 12 months.

For Getnet, which processed over €222billion across 9 billion transactions in 2025 and serves 1.3 million shoppers, the launch is a strategic step to strengthen its presence in the global tech ecosystem.
