Frisco & FC Dallas To Host 39-Day World Cup Soccer Festival In 2026

FC Dallas and the City of Frisco have announced their 39-day soccer competition coming to downtown Frisco next summer season.

The FC Dallas Soccer Celebration will remodel Simpson Plaza into a large fan zone during the 2026 World Cup.

The multi-week event is Frisco’s bid to capitalize on North Texas’ internet hosting of World Cup matches. Local officers hope the competition environment will draw vacationers and unite residents round the world’s most widespread sport.

Simpson Plaza, positioned in entrance of Frisco City Hall, will feature watch-party pods and large viewing screens. The venue will host live music, interactive games, and local meals distributors throughout the celebration.

Organizers plan to broadcast matches during MLS’s World Cup hiatus. The competition will activate on every matchday, creating what officers describe as a festival-style environment.

“As excitement continues to grow for next summer, Simpson Plaza will be a place where our community can gather, connect, and celebrate together,” said Mayor Jeff Cheney. “It will truly become Frisco’s premier soccer experience in our city this summer.”
