Entertainment Research Executive at SAG-AFTRA Was 63

Bart Story, a veteran leisure research government who labored in the residence video distribution business before main research and development at SAG-AFTRA and MarketCast, died on Tuesday in Los Angeles from problems associated to metastatic urothelial carcinoma, according to a household consultant. He was 63.

For more than 20 years, Story served as the senior director of market research at leisure advising agency MarketCast, the place he guided the advertising and marketing arms of studios, networks and streamers in viewers engagement, artistic testing and positioning methods.

Before becoming a member of MarketCast, Story was the director of research at SAG-AFTRA. He also labored at the Video Software Dealers Association, the place he was instrumental in bringing the video distribution market into the trendy age.

The longtime government earned his grasp’s diploma at USC’s Annenberg School and earned his bachelor’s diploma from Cal Poly Pomona. As a younger man, he labored in film theaters, which sparked his curiosity and fervour for becoming a member of the leisure business. Story resided in Denver, Colo.
