Claressa Shields: American boxer signs $8m multi-fight deal

Claressa Shields has signed an $8m (£6.1m) multi-fight contract with Wynn Records and Salita Promotions, which she says will assist her “keep breaking barriers inside and outside the ring”.

The American, who has gained undisputed titles in three weight lessons and is a two-time Olympic gold-medallist, is one in all women’s boxing’s largest stars.
