Trump Says Orders Federal Officers to Look for Savannah Guthrie’s Mom

President Donald Trump on Wednesday announced to TruthSocial that he’s directed all federal regulation enforcement to assist search for Savannah Guthrie’s 84-year-old mom, Nancy, who went lacking in a suspected kidnapping last weekend.

“I spoke with Savannah Guthrie, and let her know that I am directing ALL Federal Law Enforcement to be at the family’s, and Local Law Enforcement’s, complete disposal, IMMEDIATELY,” he wrote. “We are deploying all resources to get her mother home safely. The prayers of our Nation are with her and her family. GOD BLESS AND PROTECT NANCY! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP.”

Trump beforehand told reporters that he would offer more assets to the Guthrie household if wanted. This new announcement represents an pressing and more specific supply of that promise.

Nancy Guthrie went lacking in Tucson, Ariz. over the weekend, and on Monday, the Pima County Sheriff’s Office announced that her disappearance was being handled like against the law. Authorities said they discovered “very concerning” proof at her home.

“I believe she was abducted, yes,” Sheriff Chris Nanos told CBS News. “She didn’t walk from there. She didn’t go willingly.”

On Wednesday night, Savannah Guthrie posted an emotional video to her Instagram, during which she and her two siblings, Annie and Camron, shared a message to their mom’s kidnapper.

“She’s 84 years old. Her health, her heart, is fragile. She lives in constant pain. She is without any medicine. She needs it to survive, and she needs it not to suffer,” Savannah Guthrie said. “We, too, have heard the reports about a ransom letter in the media. As a family, we are doing everything that we can. We are ready to talk. However, we live in a world where voices and images are easily manipulated. We need to know without a doubt that she is alive and that you have her. We want to hear from you, and we are ready to listen.”
